About LeanStack HQ
A small editorial site for founders and operators who need a working SaaS stack, not a software museum.
What we publish
LeanStack HQ writes practical “buy or build your ops stack” guides. The beat is narrow on purpose: CRM, email automation, project / work OS, workflow automation, invoicing, and a light layer of AI marketing or SEO tools. If a category does not help a five-to-thirty-person team ship work and get paid, we skip it.
The voice is comparison-first. We describe trade-offs, seat math, and the jobs a tool is actually good at. We do not invent customer quotes, awards, or “#1 in 2026” badges.
How research is done
Each guide starts from public product docs, pricing pages, and the day-to-day jobs small teams actually run: a pipeline review, a quote that needs follow-up, a form that should create a task, an invoice that should not live in someone’s inbox. Pricing is written as a range or a tier name and marked verify current pricing, because vendors change packs and regional list prices without notice.
Independence and affiliates
Some product links are affiliate links. They are stored in Markdown frontmatter so a non-developer can swap a placeholder URL later. We do not claim official partnership status. We do not publish commission rates. Rankings and “who should pick which” sections are editorial, not paid placements. See the affiliate disclosure.
Who this is for
Founders, operators, and small-team leads who would rather run a short stack well than collect unused seats. If you are choosing between HubSpot and Pipedrive, Zapier and Make, or FreshBooks and Wave, you are in the right place.
